    MX3100 yellow drum damaged

Have a problem where the OPC film is peeled off of the yellow drum. Unit has 3300 color prints on it. Here are a couple of images. I had a drum with me to rebuild but after looking at the damage and not finding a cause I'm going to install a new drum unit and primary transfer belt (that was also damaged). Hoping someone has possibly seen this before. Other drums units are fine.

Thank you for your time and effort in this matter.

Quick update. Replaced drum unit and primary transfer unit also replaced yellow developer (DV unit appeared to be fine). Will check back in a week or 2 to see what the results are.

Have a great weekend. Supposed to be 100F tomorrow! It was just in the 60's last week! LOL

Have seen damage like that only when dv unit rides too close to the drum.(on other brands....not Sharp) Replace the dv unit or maybe the dv spacers. How many clicks on that machine?

6500 total, 3300 color. Charge didn't seem damaged. Went back and replaced drum unit and primary transfer unit with new ones, cleaned out the DV unit and everything seemed OK so just replaced the developer (will have to check the spacers but these were new units to start with). All other drums and DV units appear to be normal with no apparent damage.

          Thanks for the comments.
