    mxm363n creasing a3 only

i have an mxm363n that is creasing pretty much down the middle of the sheet. sometimes crunches the paer completely.

the fuser was refurbished 4 weeks ago and the pressure rllr is still in good condition.

the image is visible inside the creases and rubs off

the fuser entrance and exit guide are clean.

the a3 paper has been replaced with fresh paper and tried and tested from different trays.

a4 is completely in working order with no creases at all.

sometimes th a3 jams at the fusing entrance guide as in the paper isnt being guided pproperly into the fuser. fuser turns by hand nice and well.

i tried adjusting the fusing entrance guide many times at different setting and sometimes the jammming gets worse.

    can anyone help me please

    Try adjusting resist roller timing.

not sure if this would cause ur problem or not but have found that itll cause copy quality issues and possibly other issues.

go into device settings and then fuser settings and change it from the 18-20 lbs setting to the 22-28lbs setting (the weights i quoted may not be correct) dont know why but all of the new sharps are coming out set to the really thin paper.

The newest machines i.e. 2615-3640 are even more sensitive. We have been setting these to 22-28lbs right out of the box. The 50-28 setup sheets, you know the ones with the solid black blocks right on the lead edge, were not fusing and causing occasional jams. That setting cleared it right up.

On the new 6240-7040, the same 50-28 sheets were being eaten by the fusers; and I mean eaten. They were wrapping up and around the web constantly and the entire top plate had to be removed to get the sheet out. After the 22-28lb setting and several entrance plate adjustments, I dropped the fuser temp -10 and the 50-28 sheets ran flawlessly.
