Sharp now has a Universal driver that is supposed to work with Macs without Postscript. Haven't used it yet but you can find in on the tech site or the Sharp site.

    Good luck.

I'm not sure that this can be done without the Postscript option fitted to the machine for printing from Macs to the device.

From an IT supervisor, I heard some rumor of a generic PCL driver that can be loaded to Mac, but I've never seen it or confirmed success. That model can only print PostScript with the PostScript option. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Printing with the Generic PCL driver will only get you B&W.
Unfortunately there is no way to print color without the proper PS/PPD driver, especially on the MX2310U without the printer expansion kit.
