We have a Sharp MX-2700 that all of the sudden started coding F2-64 and the technician replaced the toner, ran simulation 25-1 and 44 with the JIG. Checked the toner doors and and transport tubes. Still coding out. Only motor left right or any other ideas??? Thanks in advance!

Re: MX-2700N F2-64 Code
Run sim 64-5 and see if the black is undertoned. If it is then manually add some toner to the developer unit until you can get a better copy. Then the regular add toner mode of the copier will get the toner level back to where it should be. -
Re: MX-2700N F2-64 Code
u can check the toner motor with sim 10, just cheat the door and see if it is turning. also make sure none of the gears are broke on the toner cart. i have came across a couple lately that the gear that drives the auger on toner cart was broke off (there are 3 gears i think on the back of the cart)Comment
