    Help with labels

I have a customer with a Sharp MX-5111N that insists on running an 8 1/2 X 11 label he calls sticky back through the copier.

He has tried two different brands and we still get a glue build-up through the machine from them.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a brand of label he can run?

It must have an adhesive on the label that will allow the label to be removed from whatever you sick it on (not permanent) and several breaks on the back covering of the label for easy removal of the label from its backing.

    Thank You

Sharp recommends Avery Denison labels. Be sure to set the copy or print job as labels and the bypass tray to type labels.
These machines will eat labels like Cookie Monster if run as type plain.

      Re: Help with labels

Five things I tell my endusers that insist on printing labels:

      1) LTR-R only,
      2) from the bypass tray only,
      3) whole sheets only,
      4) labels media type or heavy paper media type,
      5) and some labels will get away from you regardless of what you do.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
