[Misc] Void in Cyan print, scan and copy

I have a MX-4111N that suddenly started leaving a voided area (line) on prints, scans and copies. Simulation 64-5 test print is perfect. But when I copy the test print is has a stright line voided area the length of the paper only where cyan is needed for the color. When I did simulation 64-1 with each color and all were perfect withe the exception of the cyan (it had the line void the length of the paper).
I replaced the cyan toner, dv unit and drum with no change. I then changes the MFP PWB memory and SD card with no change. I am thinking the MFP PWB would be the next step. Any ideas?

Most likely it's an optical problem, not a print engine problem. So forget about developer, drum, charge, laser ... they're all OK if your prints are OK.

I'm thinking that you've got a fleck of dust on the CCD or lens. Remove the dust cover over the CCD. Use air to blow out the area. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

No we eliminated optical as it makes the void line on copies done on the flat bed too. Additionally it only effects the cyan color or any color requiring the use of cyan. Prints are only good using simulation 64-5. any other prints using color have the void line.

Um-mm, flat bed uses optics also; if it's only cyan, most likely, like BC says, it's a CCD cleaning.

          Do you have a sample?

It should not be the optics, TC 64-1 appeared with problem, which eliminated it as a possibility. I would look at the LSU and the drum unit, since you replaced DV unit. You should be able to narrow it down by swapping Cyan and Magenta drum units. If problem stays with cyan, look at LSU and cleaning LSU slit glass. If problem moves with drum, check MC unit and more likely DCH lens. DCH lens is in Section 23 item 60, it sits on top of cleaning blade. You should not have to replace it, just clean it, make sure there is not toner obstructing light path.
