    [Error Code] f2-02 f2-64

    Every winter we get this.
    yes the volume is too low
    yes the humidity is too low
    yes we have changed the dev unit drum frame drums charge kits latest firmware and all new toner motors and transport pipe unit to the black developer.

    new humidity sensor

    new toner hopper foam roller

    i cant remember but i know ive done more

    any ideas? serial number starts with a 1 so i know its newer than the bulletin REP 1619a which correct the voltages so this should not be an issue

    im stumped.... has anyone had any experience with sim 44-1 and shutting off parts of process control?

    yes its over toned
    fuser is always a toner covered mess
    blacks are too black ... no background yet but ive seen background last year when it did it last winter (multiple times)

    only way to get it running again is a black pm... works for about 100 k then comes back
    I fix copiers ...Well Sorta

      Sorry, my crystal ball doesn't seem to be working.

      Sure it's a color machine, that reduces the number of models by 1/2.
      So what model is it? =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

              Might be worthwile to have a look at this. Might help, may not. Worth a try.

              MODELS: MX5500N, MX6200N, MX6201N, MX7000N, MX7001N
              SUBJECT: F2-02 OR F2-64 TROUBLE DUE TO A LOCKED TN ROLLER
              GENERAL: When operating under certain conditions, a toner replenishment (BK) failure may occur due to variations of the TN roller, causing the load torque to increase which prevents the TN Roller from rotating.
              If the TN roller fails to rotate, toner is not replenished into the DV unit (BK) correctly, resulting to F2-02 and/or F2-64 trouble.
              ACTION: To reduce the load torque on the TN roller and prevent F2-02 or F2-64 trouble, the diameter of the TN roller has been changed from
              16.5 +0.5/-0 to
              16.0 +0/-0.5.
