MX-2300 leaving unwanted toner on sheet

Have a newer customer with a MX-2300, and they are 1.5 hours away in a rural area. Called said machine was leaving strange marks (blotches) of toner on the sheet. From the sound of it thought primary transfer belt. Grabbed a used one ( that's all we had in) went to service. No luck! Same type of problems.

Flipped primary transfer or yellow dr cleaning blade.. the triangular shape is the blade in progress of flipping.

Customer had called the shop and reported that the machine had cleaned up and was performing ok after I left . But when I got back to shop at the end of the day, they called again reporting the same problem was back.

Whats the page count on drums and primary transfer belt? Its one or the other. Could just need new drums. You can swap drums for testing to see if it moves from one color to the other. If its time for a primary transfer kit in machine. make sure to clean all the roller under belt well. no bumps or sticky residue.

You may want to replace primary belt unit (MX-270U1), rebuilding an old unit might be a waste of time and money if the black drive roller is sticky. Doing that and installing MX-270MK's in the color drum units will most likely resolve all issues as long as secondary transfer and fuser are good.
