    Sharp MX-M350N duplex jams

    Is this machine a difficult machine to access the reverse unit where the paper comes out of the machine during duplex then reverses. This is when I get a jam, as the paper comes out (duplex only). Has anyone had this type of jam and what is the procedure to get into the reverse unit.

      very common problem. The units go bad-one-ways etc. They aren't too bad to replace just have to remove quit a few covers etc.

          To point you in the right direction:

          start by removing the internal finisher or mailbox,
          back cover,
          top engine cover,
          fuser,

          The delivery turnover unit will be the assembly just above the fuser. And I would have a replacement unit on hand before starting.

          If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

                  Give yourself about an hour and a half to do this the first time depending on what attachments you have.

                          The part number for the deliver unit is CFRM-1020DS52 its not real hard to replace just time consuming. we always kept one on hand. good luck

                              I've also noticed if you clean the turn over unit, clean the one-ways, scour the one-way shafts, and replace all 3 of the sensors. You're good to go.
