    arm-350 giving f1-15 finisher error

Hello! so when I turn the copier on, their is a loud clicking noise in the finisher area,
i took the covers off and noticed the elevator thing was completly stuck
i searched alot but couldnt find a post with the loud clicking problem.

Here is a pic of the copier, it has a built in finisher is their anyway to take it off?

i look under the covers and all around it but was stumped on how to get into it.

Have fun with this. 3 screws in the front and 2 in the back. Also need take desk unit back off and disconnect finisher from unit then left entire unit away from copier if you want to see the inside. I would look at the lower tray first before doing that they sometimes get dislocated and are unlevel which could cause your issue. Not the easiest finisher to work on but pretty straight forward once you figure out how to get the covers off.

    Good luck.

Thanks Bil. I was straining both my remaining brain cells trying to remember how the darn thing comes off. I've done it a hundred times, but was drawing a blank.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Done like 20 of these in the last month as one of our clients "upgraded" their U models to N with scan and almost all of them have the FN6 finisher! LOL

I've removed several FN6s and, the cable, once disconnected, would always get caught when pulling the finisher out. It took quite awhile to realize that the hole on the back panel was to clip the cable to for easier removal.
