This place is on isolated island in Southeast Alaska only accessible by float plane of boat. We have a number of these places that still have one room schools that serve all grades with perhaps only teacher and one or two aides. We had lots more of them 15 years ago when we had more logging gone. Some of them weren't on land, they were on log floats and you didn't tell the pilots where to go you told them what camp you needed to go to and they would know if it had moved or not and take me there. I used to get the plane and pilot on a weekend and go to as many as schools as we could do. Ahh---the old days!
