Re: sharp AR-m550 display touchscreen not power
The machine I fixed turned out to be the PCU. I had the good fortune at that time to have a machine to donate PWBs, so I could try each, one at a time. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I had a coworker have a similar issue. The display would not come on or was really faint. I think the fans may have come on briefly, not sure, it's been a while. It turned out that he kept using the main power switch, within the front door. He did not know about the auxillary power switch on the right side of machine, which was turned off. I went out and turned the aux. switch on and bam it worked. Hopefully, it is that easy for you.Comment

Re: sharp AR-m550 display touchscreen not power
While working on this issue I learned a few things. At initial startup only a few of the power supply voltages are present, until the PCU wakes up and tells the power supply to turn on the rest.
My misconception from the analog days was that all power supply voltages should be present on a working power supply immediately, and present with the other connectors unplugged, excepting AC wall power. False assumption. The PCU and power supply must communicate before the rest of the power comes on. That's why the dead PCU killed most of the power at the power supply.
