Hi all,
Client has an old cracker of an AR-M351U that I was called upon to look at after it threw up a T2-02 error. I pulled the new toner and gave it a shake and ensured the auger gears were turning freely. Reinserted it and away it went. Immediately started producing very dirty copies and prints. Removed drum, dev and cleaned out the process area, wiped the laser slit galss, cleaned rego roller. Everything internally is spotless, checked drum and charge units for obvious signs of wear, they look virtually new. Wiped all contact points to ensure an even charge. When I put everything back in it threw another T2-02. Pulled out the toner, had another fiddle and it resolved the error. Although the dirty copies still remain. When the drum unit is removed it has a dusting of toner on the back of the drum before it enters the cleaning blade.
At the time I didn't have the appropriate parts (drum, charge kit) on me to test with as I had come via another job.
Does this sound familiar to anyone????
