    Network Scan Question im3510

This is a question concerning Network Scan from an Imagistics 3510. I have a customer who uses a program called "
Paperport " to scan in .pdf files into their server. I have installed the im3510 on their network and it prints fine. I have
enabled the 500-sheet trial setting in the copier to let the customer decide if they want to purchase the Scan option.
Imagistic's Network Scanner Tool installed fine and allows the customer to scan documents to the the default c:\Desktop
Documents folder. When the customer scans in a document, Imagistic's Desktop Document Manager program launches to show the
    .pdf file.
Here's the problem, the customer wants the copier to open their Paperport program instead of Desktop Document
Manager. They have been using Paperport to scan in files with a much smaller scanner, so they'd like to keep using the same
program. Looking under the Process Definitions, I created a New profile. This allowed me to change the " Launch " program
directory to the customer's Paperport folder. When I tried to give a new directory to the " Deliver files to this directory
", I get a problem. The document scans thru the copier, the correct program, Paperport, launches but then I get an error that
the destination folder doesn't exit. The folder in question not only exists, but it is where the customer was sending all
their scans on their old scanner.
Any tips on how to change default settings in Imagistic's Network Scanner Tool to allow you to send to programs
besides Imagistic's Desktop Document manager? Thanks for any tips.

I used this Paperport software before with Xerox machines.
I adjust that Xerox scan by FTP on some folder on PC (could be any folder)
When scaning is adjusted and working, then adjust Paperport to "watch" same folder.
Also as I remember well could work only if scan document is in tiff.
There is some more options, like, to open scan doc, to save them etc

Check this and if need more help I will try to find that Paperport and to install it to see can I help you.

I imagine the Imagistic's NST software is similiar to Sharp's. When you set up the directory you want to scan to, are you browsing to that folder they have been using and not the launch folder?
