You can open up the side door, then go into the service mode. Check the wires going to the bypass section to ensure that nothing is pinched. It sounds to me like you have a wire grounding out.

I think NCart is on the right track. I would take my troubleshooting in a different direction though.

I would remove one connector from the main board, then power up. No improvement? Re-connect, then unplug another. Keep repeating this until you get an error code. The connector that is unplugged when the error code appears will lead to your short (probably on a logic level 5VDC line like a PF sensor). Obviously the power connector from the DC power supply to the main board will yield a dead machine, and the ribbon cable to the control panel will yield a blank display (but it may begin to initialize, confirming that you're on the right track).

Let us know what you discover.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

NCArt was right, wire was pinch.
Is the toner cartridge for ar-m160 can be refillable knowing that there is a chip in the cartridge? I understand that the toner is common to Toshiba 161. Thanks

Many Thanks also to Riza for sharing the AR-M160 SM

The toner cartridge has a CRUMM chip. You need a new one to reset the light, unless someone has found another way to get around this.
