Has anyone had a issue with e7-93 code after replacing sd card on a mx-2640? Thanks in advance.

e7-93 deals with image memory , (fax image memory) . sd card has fax image memory, according to service manual, when replacing sd card , a firmware update should be done and fax memory clear 66-10 should be done. Also have seen the write protect switch on sd card get set to on and this will cause errors, as the board can't talk to sd card.

We have replaced dimm memory, hdd, mfp-pwb, compactflash and sd card per sharp they don't have faxe on this machine it only happens when printing firmware has been updated more the once.

Try dumping print memory with SIM 67-17. Be sure to clone the machine as the memory dump will also default smtp, domain name, and print port settings.

Copier was brought into shop and is working fine, so I may be issue ssomewhere in network, file not sure.
