    Fuser flat spot

I have a new Mx4141 which has been sitting in the show room for 5 months, I suspect it was not turned off properly and has developed a flat spot on the fuser.Would any of you guys have a solution to this other then to install fuser kit.I have tried running fuser for about an hour but that didn't help.Copier has 75 copies on it

No, you are going to be re-building a fuser. Have yet to work on that model. Does it have pressure release levers lot other Sharps. Time to teach your sales people how to use them if it does.

This model does have a fuser release motor, and without the proper shutdown will cause a flat spot that may or may not work it's way out.
NOTE: First power down from the keyboard until the display is blank, than power down the main power switch - this gives the fuser release motor time to disengage the rollers.

Try just running it. I know, I know. It will sound like my 1972 Ford with the polyester snow tires in February. But I've seen a few that did round out again after some use.

Most don't, but the most you can waste is a couple reams of paper and a little toner.

By the way, the polyester snow tires do round out again once they've warmed up a little. It takes about 1.5 miles at -20F. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I am sure there are a few of us that can remember those old bias ply tires.
