Sharp MX5001N Dead/Blank Screen

Hi, A customer has a Sharp MX5001N and just been to look at it,the screen is completely blank although the small green led is on on the operation panel,the network point led is on and the row of led's on the mfp board are also on,but nothing else (no fans etc). Anybody any ideas ? Thanks

Had this similar problem on a 4101N, clutch in the paper feed drive pack shorted out and killed the DC power supply. When we replaced the DC power supply it worked for a day and then killed the second power supply, be careful. You might want to pull the paper feed units out from tray2 and tray1 and rotate the clutch drive shafts to see if either feel 'rough', we could feel the wire rubbing on the clutch housing. Had a pic of the clutch somewhere, can't find now.
Try to remove the harness for that feeding drive pack and see if it fires up.
