    MX-M453N No power

I have a machine that was operating one moment then quit. No power. It has power out of the AC PWB and when the main power switch is engaged power goes to HL PWB but thus far nothing else. DC PWB? Anyone know a way of testing the DC PWB without just swapping boards?

A schematic and multimeter. Make sure it is not something stupid like aux. power being off.

If you can't find the issue soon try removing the harness going to the paper feed drive unit or some other external components.

I have had 2 of these models where machine comes up, screen is blank, and after 1 minute, the fans kick on.
In both instances, it was a bad DIMM chip.

Failing to plan is planning to fail!!!

I found one 5 amp fuse on the DC PWB had failed. Of course it had to be the only one I could not see without removing the AC PWB. Now to watch it to see why it failed.
