    [Jamming] Mx-b402 adf jams

Hey folks, first time post here. I'm working on an mx-b402 that is Jamming in the doc feeder when exiting. It's happening intermittently. I checked the rollers and they all look good. Maybe a sensor issue? Anyone have any ideas of what I should be looking for here?

    Thanks

Did you run a sensor check? You may have a flag hanging up sometimes.

I had a customer reef some paper out the wrong way and it dislocated the SPPD3 sensor. Sensors get knocked out very easily on this little plastic Mattel toy.

Glad you found it. And you are correct. this series is a tinker toy that goes snap crackle and pop.

There are two latch features in the opening for the top door. Check that one or both of these latches hasn't snapped off and lodged in the paper path just before the slit glass. While you're in there, clean all the rubber rollers, not just pickup/feed/sep. Those two things solve 99% of all the problems with these feeders. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
