[Error Code] MX-M365N ERROR CODE F2-40

Good Day all I'm working on a Sharp MX-M365N and I have setup 3 that have coded out with a F2-40. This is at set-up and after I have ran 80 to 100 copies on it. I have looked on Sharp's IDNC site and no help. Can anyone give me some help on this problem. I have ran Sim 25-01 to verify the TCD_K value and it is less than 26 so I disable DV check using Sim 7-1. Then I ran 50 or so sky shots and rechecked TCD_K value and it is still below 26. I may try changing developer and toner? I can use a little help please.

I have seen this and have an open ticket with IDNC support; in my case I replaced the developer and it set up ok the second time. Note: in some cases when you run 25-1, the toner motor turned at times, so as the SM recommends, remove the toner before running tests. The machine in question was sent to customer and we are closely watching it. I have the empty bag of DV and a heavily overtones 22-6.
I can send the example if you PM me.

replace developer, run 25-2 without toner cartridge.

Are you using 560NV and 560NT supplies? You cannot use the previous models supplies (500NV and 500NT). Yes, it seems dumb but it is worth mentioning. Another thing I noticed is the previous model uses the same process sensor as the new one. However, the new machine uses a blue drum. I tend to be overly observant and it is just a theory at this point.
With a reading of 26, that code will keep coming back. I always run at least 200 skyshots to get that number back into specs.

Another issue on Orion machine (365,465,565) , also have a ticket with Sharp for almost 3 months now, is when installing the DE20 tandem paper tray, the 50-28 setups for trays 3 and 4, it prints out the one block calibration sheet for tray 1. I have seen this on every Orion machine with that paper tray. If you scan in those calibration sheets, it corrupts the values for tray 1. I have been setting the tray registration manually using 50-10 as Sharp is pretty much useless as far as support goes.

Is that the one where they want "layers" of different types of powder....? And lets not forget the special end powder for the red felts.
Nice work Sharp; these things use more powder than an infant with diarrhea!!!

I came across this issue as well and the problem is that the toner clutch is stuck due to rusting from the salt when being shipped. Take off the clutch and take it apart to sand away the rust with a brillow pad. Once you've done that it should release the two parts of the clutch and make it so it isn't dumping toner in the entire time.

                      Hello all,

I just bough two brand new Sharp MX 565N copiers and on both of them I have F2-40 error. I have tried with replacing toners but that did not help. Does anyone know how to enter simulation mode on this model and/or how to rectify issue?

                      Thanks in advance
