    [Misc] MX-M260 Blowing Toner

    Hello,

I have an MX-M260 just blowing toner all through the copier. It was received in about a week ago from one of our customers. The tech assigned to fix the fuser issue with it decided it would be a good idea to put a AR-M317 fuser in it because he was impatient waiting for the correct fuser. He has been terminated as this wasn't the first time he's not followed procedure. I installed a new MX-M260 fuser in it and it started blowing toner all through the precess path. I changed the Drum, Blade, Developer, Main Charge, but no matter what I do, it won't stop dumping toner everywhere. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't think that the fusing will cause of spreading toners to the machine. first, did the spill toner is mix by developer? if so its either you have a problem in DV unit, bias or HV. If only toner are spilling maybe you have an issue with the toner itself, perhaps compatible toner.

I will try another toner cartridge. DV is new however the DV unit itself is original. Strange tho, this machine is only 3 months old.

What kind of volume does it have and why was the fuser changed? Chances are your drum and charge assembly may be worn out if your volume is appropriate.

What is the meter at on this machine? The Drum Unit and Developer Unit are to be replaced at 300K I do believe. I've seen toner BLOW out the LEFT fan opening if the toner cartridge isn't installed or meshed right.
