Sharp 2700n life remaining on the developer and drum units.

    Hello

How can I check life remaining on the developer and drum units? Manuals do not say anything about it.
Is it possible to check exactly toners level? Machine shows only for example 75-50%.

    Best Regards

According to my service manual, section 7, page 3, approximately 3/4 down the page, simulation blah, sub code 6... clearly states how to arrive at this end result. Sir, you clearly must not have the correct service manual... Sorry about your luck.

...and no, 75-50% is what you are given unless you take them out and get a feel for how much toner is in the container.

Consumable parts in the manual tells you the expected yield of the different maintenance parts.

          Thank you for your help.

Could yo tell me what does FUSER ACUM DAy 500/740 (from counter display 22-1) means please? Does it mean that Fuser Unit can be use for

          a) 740-500=240 days
          b) 500 days

          TOTAL BW 58000
          TOTAL COL 88000

          MAINTINANCE ALL 155000

          MAINTINANCE COL 90000

Does it mean that next maintinance should be done when total count wil be 155000?

fuser acum days all supplies are good for 740 days(sharp spec) sharp recommends after 2 years or xxxxxx copies to replace item.

total bw and total color are just that, total output for color and bw. maint all is page count since last maint (includes bw and color count) at 155000 you are overdue or count was not reset. Sharp default maint count all is 100k. you are also overdue on color, default is 60k. black dev and drum pm are at 100k. maint all most times won't sync up with the black dev and drum pm. your dev and drum counts are in sim 22 also.

Also have your local Sharp tech check out the copier if you are not seeing the maint. required message on the display, settings have been changed or turned off.

              Thank you for replay.

I understand that 740 is the limit but I am not sure what does 500/740 means. Does it mean 500 days left to next maint?

All informations are displayed as you said (drum, dev, belt etc.. for example drum_life (Y) 056, TC1 BELT DAY 418/740, TC1 BELT 81818)
In my opinion total bw means total output machine done (since purchase) not since last maint. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Later, I will show you full display from 2 machines and then we can compare them.

500 is the days since component was replaced.
B/W total output is total output and same goes with color.
Maintenance All, I do not pay to much attention to because I clear it at every call and something maybe needed before the maintenance all light comes up.
I pay attention to the individual counters.
The days, I may look at if the component is showing wear, machine has been sitting in warehouse or I have some CQ issues that seems unexplained. If the counter says 740/740, chances are, I will fight with machine less and just order necessary PM parts.

All of these questions can be answered if you purchase a service manual.

drum life and dev life is shown percent used b 76% used, also drum , dev, and tc belts also count rotations(don't ask, you need degree in theoretical physics to figure it out).
