    AR-M455 locking up

    Hi Guys,

I have one that freezes the fax function. It's intermittent. When it happens, the customer can't enter a fax number. I also had a "Maximum number of jobs has been already reserved" message. I've gone out there and the only thing that will

clear it is unplugging the copier and then rebooting.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

Clear the fax image memory. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yes sir. Machines of this era did not automatically purge the image memory after a specific period of time, unlike the newer machines. Therefore failed transmissions had an unpleasant way of collecting in the memory and not going away. =^..^=
