    [Error Code] Sharp MX2600 C4-00

    Hi can anyone help,

I keep getting a re-occuring C4-00 error, it has had 2 new ptc's fitted ( in case one was fauty ) , new transfer belt and the rollers inside transfer unit cleaned ,all drum units and devs units checked to make sure not too tight and a new secondary transfer pwb ( as this is what controls the ptc voltage )

I am now runing out of ideas for this and am only left with the pcu pwb ( which i have never known for this error )

    Any advice greatly appreciated.

    cheers

The PTCs were updated a while back to give less C4-00 faults. Are you using the updated units or the old ones?

It is a long shot but it happen to me once, i purchased a board (2nd transfer)from sharp (which came from hytec) and it turned out that the board was not good .

So maybe you should get another one to make sure ,i know it's boring but it's worth the try
