MX-6240N - "Address Book is full" error when scanning to email

Our customer is reporting that every few days they get an "Address Book is full" error when trying to scan to email. They power cycle the copier and it is fine after that (for a few days).

We have had them disable mDNS to fix an earlier problem right at install. I'll probably turn off more unused services/protocols as well.

They have about 30 scan destinations in the Address Book and they run about 1300 scans per month.

If turning off some network services doesn't fix the issue, anybody have other suggestions?

    Thanks.

edit; It has the most current firmware and I will re-flash when I get there.

It appears that the problem has been corrected.

I checked the DIMMs on the MFP PWB and noticed that one didn't seem to be seated all the way. I reseated all the DIMMS and made sure they were fully seated.

The customer reports that the issue has not re-occurred since and that was two weeks ago.

Congratulations! That's a strange one for the books. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
