    Account control for law firm

Customer requires software which prompts a login window in order to enter account numbers for tracking print jobs. Don't know if this is related to External Accounting Module or other OSA application. Currently using Xerox, replacing with MX-M623N and MX-C402SC.
Just fishing, anyone have recommendations for law firm (over 200 account numbers), also OSA app for integration with Timeslips software?

We set up a few MX's for a law firm the other week, they track their jobs for billing purposes ect. We set them up using Papercut, which has a "follow me print function" and also lets you bill prints to clients, (something I believe law firms are fond of) . We had a small issue figuring out how to transfer their client database into the program from the previous software they had installed, but I believe it all worked in the end.

For an external device, copyguard works well for the law firms........

        PaperCut MF ALL THE WAY!!!

If you are selling this to a Law Firm, then you will need to make sure that you get the professional licence which gives you access to the Advanced Billing Pop-Up.

PaperCut will allow them to track the use Copying / Printing / Scanning and Faxing because we all know how much law firms love to charge for stuff that could have been done cheaper at your local copyshop...

They will also be able to track who printed to which account, deny access for certain users to use specific accounts and if you know JScript, you can completely customize your own Pop-Ups when the client sends a print job to the machine.
Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
