    I think the product key also has to be erased (can get A0-5 or A0-15 error, there is is sharp tech tip)then the non dsk roms are installed then flash the machine with firmware.

      That, I do not know as I only put the original ROMs in long enpugh to reset the passwords. I would think not as that would negate the reason for a DSK. That being to secure the information on the MFP.
      I would physically look at the roms if you haven't yet to verify what they are. I believe they have the version on them.
