sharp mx m700 exit delivery jam

Paper jams at the first set of rollers of the exit assembly, when u manually turn the exit knob it feels like its is binding, after removing and checking drive gears and sub assemblies i realized when power is off the rollers turn freely on the exit unit, when u open the copier to clear jam from the exit unit first rollers are still binding. I have to power off and on for rollers to turn . Any ideas thanks

it's probably the roller bearing in delivery unit(i think it's a one-way bearing) It's better to replace the delivery unit ,the heat from the fuser takes it toll on the sensors, plastic guide rollers and so on in the delivery unit.

Thank faxman28. I returned with a another unit and had the same jam . When removing the jam I slid the delivery unit out and the rollers became free the metal drive from the engine was still binding when I turned it by hand and it had power even with side unit opened. when I turned the power off it turned freely. ?

SORRY for late reply didnt have access to copier . Copier did not register jams or errors after 3rd reset l4-30 showed up on screen and when I replaced controller fan everything started working again. I am stumped. Thanks for replys.
