Customer changed telephone provider for a voice over ip and he complain that the machine gives error E-28 or E30 randomly,i know that the fax used to work fine for the last 5 years, is there any solutions for that kind of prob.

The ECM is off ,i don't know what else could be done .

I work with Sharp Canada, the tech tips that i have is relate with a 4 wires cable instead of 2, is it the TT you're talking about?

No, it concerns problems with a G3 fax (analog) trying to send over a digital line.

Drop modem speed to 9600bps. Lock the V.27 moden in at 96K. Turn of Jbig and all other modems. Only send and receive at 96K.
