    DXC 400 with l4-16 code

Anybody got the fuser parts picture for this beast.
I need to see where the press roller sensor flag sits.
Don't want to replace the whole fuser.
It turns fine, but there is a thumping noise as it rotates.
I assume it is the pressure roller not finding home.
Why do they call it common sense?

If it were common, wouldn't everyone have it?

Not your model, but it is probably pretty close (item 16 is your flag sensor lever).
Hope you have better eyesight than me.

Found the sensor flag, but it is the cam gear under it that is broken.
Does anyone have that part #?

Why replace a fuser for $250 when a $15 part will fix it.
Machine only has 16k on it.

        Is this what you want?:
Sharp MX-C311 Pressure Release Detect Plate, Genuine (M5723)
        =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: DXC 400 with l4-16 code

Guy @ Precision emailed me the fuser parts list.

Looks the same, but called a gear and is black.
$12.00, cheaper than $250 for a whole new fuser.

          Now have customer for life.
          Thanks for the quick replies.
