    AR-5320 main board

    When i turn on the machine it gives U2 and can not be cancelled by prog.16 and i found IC-18 in main board damaged i change it once and the same happened .
    Anyone can advise that if there is a short circuit in the machine or a motor loaded???

      Did the same thing happen right away? What does that chip do, what does it turn on/off? That's where I would look.

          A smoke comes from the chip with a something burn smell and when turning on the machine the gives U2 and when cancell prog.16
          U2 comes again
          i tuned it off to exced the damage.

              For starters lets find out the details of the code: U2-??

              What are the remaining two digits of the error code?
              If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
              1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
              2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
              3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
              4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
              5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
