Re: Toshiba 3540C Cannot Access Firmware Mode (49)
Can you get into 3C Mode to format the drive? You'll need to do that first. If you still can't get into 49 mode you may have a bad Logic Board. I had a 4520C that would not go into any of the service modes until I changed the Logic board. After that the installation was routine. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Re: Toshiba 3540C Cannot Access Firmware Mode (49)
It's more likely to be a dead HDD (or faulty connection), top of my head f102-1 is no connection/can not mount hdd error.
If this is the case you won't be able to enter 49 mode, possibly not even 3C mode because they both check for a connected hdd on startupNo, I will not send you Manuals, Software or your own little repair Genie to fix all your problems for you.Comment

Re: Toshiba 3540C Cannot Access Firmware Mode (49)
You're welcome. On my machine I had an intermittently failing HDD. When I installed the new drive, I could not get into any of the service modes. When I put the old intermittent drive back in, it still wouldn't enter service modes. It's just disappointing. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
