Hi I have a customer that has a Toshiba es4540c copier that when they send a print job in b/w anything that is in color is erased instead of being printed at a lighter shade. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

=^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Can you post the original and print out image to the forum ?
Does the printer driver have a toner-saver/economy print mode ?
If so, normal black prints will come out printed as a lighter grey shade.Inauguration to the "AI cancel-culture" fraternity 1997...

Are they printing from a Mac? If yes they are probably using Black & White in colour settings, Black & White is not Mono, it it Black only and any other colour is ignored, the same as Black and yellow, it will print black and every other colour is yellow.
Use Mono.
