es 556 time for pm fuser web

we have one of these that will not reset, using all the known reset procedures. also the fuse web out sensor is working properly.
I've pm'ed at least a hundred of these with no problems after a reset, any ideas? thanks--jim

Print off the 9S-103 pm parts report or view the values in 6S-2. As you probably already know, most Toshibas track both copy count and motor rotations. Pay special attention to the stated PM cycle for the web count and web motor rotations. You might find one of these is set to zero. Zero maintenance cycle means the light is on all the time.

You'll find the setting for PM cycle in 08 mode. And I don't know how it gets to zero but occasionally, somehow it does.

Also, I've seen the web photointerrupter fail, after baking in the fuser for a while. =^..^=

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
