    Estudio 2330c Toner density

Toshiba 2330c had a CE 20 code. After replacing transfer belt unit from another machine, the code went away. We now get what appears to be a toner density patches on every print. Any idea what would cause this?

Thanx in advance guys and gals, you all usually come through for me.

I sure have done this to myself a couple times. Toshiba is kind of unique in the way the transfer belt cleaner unit is installed. The cleaner unit must be removed from the front before the belt can be removed, and the belt unit must be set in the machine before the cleaner unit is installed.

The belt cleaner unit has two alignment pins, one at the right lower rear, one at the right lower front. Both pins have to be fitted into their receivers or it won't clean. The best way to get it installed properly is to remove the yellow imaging unit. With your flashlight you will be able to see both pins and receivers, and get them aligned. Once the belt cleaner unit is on it's pins, reinstall the yellow imaging unit, and rotate the transfer belt handle.

If it's still not cleaning, it's possible that the mechanism (on the belt unit) that pulls the cleaning unit up to the belt is broken, or the front receiver may be broken, or one of the pins broken. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Thanks Blackcat!!! That was exactly what happened. Problem solved. Now if only I can figure out why I cant seem to get a couple of the workstation to scan, I will be all set with this account. Thanks again!!!

I feel slightly less stupid when others make the same mistakes that I do.
Congratulations on an easy fix. =^..^=
