    es4540c doing double sided prints.

    Hello

I have a customer that says the machine is doing double sided prints when they send a single sided job. I know on older models there was an 08 setting that could force the machine to do double sided copies. Does anyone know what the setting may be? I have been looking in the book but have not had much luck.

Thank you in advance for any help.

On that series of machines (eBridge X) the print driver comes defaulted to two sided. So even if they haven't chosen double-sided it will still do it. I would check your print default under "Devices and Printers" - "Printing Preferences".
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?

Ditto that. Toshiba, Kyocera, and Konica Minolta have all gone that way.
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
