Anyone else seen lately where if you try and set a static IP on the eBX series machines it won't take it? You change the setting to "static", type in IP, hit apply and the "network initializing" message appears. After a few seconds it disappears and the IP address is back to the one it found when I had it set on "dynamic". This happens almost every time I do a new install, but seems to be more common on eBX1 series (e2540c, e347). I've seen this problem for at least the past year and every new f/w doesn't seem to fix it. Often the only way I can get it to work is to set network card to Static, reboot copier, then type in address I want. Am I alone with this problem?
