Hello, Customer has a ES 2830 and when trying to fax they are getting the no authority to execute the job message. Does anyone know what this is? Didnt do this before, how to get rid of message. Thanks for any help you can give.

It sounds like they have department codes enabled. You can limit access to various features, including faxing. I think that's the message appears when a feature is disabled.Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"? -

I found the answer using the search. Just had to use the right wording for it to come up. Someone else had this same problem and said it was a bad connection betweent the machine and fax board.Comment
