    estudio 2330c paper tray thunking

    Hi Guys,

    I have a machine that will not lift the paper booster consistently. When the tray is filled with paper, I get the thunking noise from the lift motor trying to put the paper in position. It looks like there is a clutch pack in the back of the machine. Is there a cheap fix, or does the entire clutch assembly have to be replaced?

    Also, does anyone know where I can get a manual? (Servicemanuals.net doesn't have one.)

      Check the lift motor assembly. The drive coupler on the machine side can shatter into small bits. You can order the coupler gear separately.

      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
