    Toshiba ES-4555c C390 error

    this machine has only 12k on it everything looks whole and in perfect condition
    has anyone else had issues like this
    I Know it is in the Cyan developer or drum section

      It's fairly common to have those developing unit bearings seize up. I think I would remove the cyan developing unit and cyan drum unit, and inspect the cavity for a large pile of cyan developer at the rear. You could also attempt to turn the mag roller to find out how difficult it is to turn.

          I did check
          no piles very clean (little blue toner not much) and the mag roller spins nicely just like the other colors
          I ran auto tone with the door cheated open just to make sure the
          augers were spinning, they were
          removed the auto tone sensor and cleaned it off nothing out of the norm there
          checked the connections from the developer to the plugs in the back seem to be making
          positive contact.
          was wondering if there was an easy way to check if the sensor was bad.
          seems like on the old ones way back when we checked them with a ohm drop or increase.

              I found no piles and the augers spin nicely
              I checked the drive and coupling on the developer
              by Running the Auto tone 6S-1 with the door cheated open
              all developers were turning. also when the machine throws this code c390
              there are the density bars on the transfer belt all look solid.
              do you think im fighting a bad sensor either the auto tone or the quality control.
              I checked for positive connection on the dev to the machine and inspected for cracks
              all looks like I just unpacked it.
              I did get one black copy out of it just before it threw the code again
              Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm
