    e232 intermittent paper jam

Encountered few units of e232 intermittent paper jam with E010, E020 error codes.

Whenever I attend the call and do testing, no problem occur...Another symptom is after paper jam sign on, even no paper in the machine, the machine is still in paper jam sign, need to ON OFF machine in order back to ready mode...

I've did input test & output test, everythings seems to be normal...Did I miss out something?

To remove on/off after paper jam u have to adjust close front cover switching ( adjustment located in front cover with two screw)

You may have a heat sensitive Sharp photointerrupter in the fuser exit. When they logic lock, powering off/on, seems to reset them for a time.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
