C467_34, so the question is why?

e Studio 2500C. I'm there for Add Toner indications. The cause was leaking rear developer bearings on the yellow developing unit. The developer was preventing the spring loaded coupler from "springing", so there was no drive and no agitation only at yellow. But that's not the question.

After fixing the developing issue (scrap developing unit + developer) I powered it up in 05 mode to do the stir. The moment it comes to "Ready" it goes into C467_34. I examined the fuser and reset the error several times. No joy.

Then I got to reading the manual details. C467 is a pressure roller thermistor discrepancy at the start of a print job. There very likely were print jobs waiting in the various printer queues just waiting for the printer to come to "Ready". So I cleared the code 08-400, then disconnected the network cable and removed all the paper.

After that it booted to 05 mode without the error. I ran the developer stir and color calibration. Then it booted to "Ready" and made copies and prints. So the question is: "What sort of print job causes C467_34 codes?" Does anybody have a theory how this happened? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I don't have any idea why it happens, but I've seen the exact same problem on that series of machine at two locations. I've got to assume it's a bug in the software. Upon arrival copier is in CFS mode, I fix issue and boot into 05 but get fuser error, clear fuser error but if I go back into 05 it comes back, so I clear fuser error boot up normally and allow print jobs to output, then return to 05 and all is well.
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?
