[Jamming] ES 855 Jamming with error E-020

this is a new customer to me I went out about a month ago for this issue, it was jamming in the fuser exit aria. I rebuilt the fuser and it worked good for 2 weeks this is a law office running 5k per week. Went back yesterday and ran 200 copies no jams but when they print it jammed on the 3rd copy, when the paper exits the fuser and turns down into the inverter unit it is jamming on the gate on the exit door. the gate is moving smoothly and has no burrs or seems unaltered in any way. Has anyone seen this before>
    Thanks in advance

Look at the fuser exit rollers: are they worn cupped or dried out?
Look at the upper exit idlers: are they crumbling to fine dust?
Look at the amount of leading edge void on your images: do you have at least 3mm, and probably closer to 3.5 or 4mm?
Look at the exit sensor photointerrupter: it can become intermittent due to the exposure to fuser heat or crumble to dust and fall off of it's mount.
Is your customer running images that have heavy black background around the margins? Introduce them to the "Edge Erase" function, set to about 15mm. Almost anything will pass with an adequate void.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I would also look closely at the exit gate. The plastic "fins" develop hairline cracks where they wrap around the metal shaft and this can cause a lot of pesky intermittent jams. Sometimes they are not visible at first glance.
Why does every customer think they're the first one to ever say: "you've been here so much we should get you an office, ha, ha, ha"?
