[Jamming] Jamming on Power Toshiba e723 - E-030

    Hi Techs,
I got headache on this issue.
The machine said E-030 on power on.
I follow the instruction to test all the sensor related to E-030 and also look through the paper. No problem.
I test the LGC board with another machine. No problem.

What can I do next or what to test more?
    Thanks

I did like what you said, replaced the sensor but it still said E030

I don't need a manual to know that E030 is a power ON jam. But that doesn't tell me which sensor is ON. You'll need to open your manual, to look up each sensor test in 03 mode, then individually test each sensor.

These lovely Sharp 73 sensors can be very difficult to diagnose, since powering the machine OFF can reset the condition. If your machine stays jammed count yourself lucky. It will be easy to find if it stays jammed. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
        1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
        2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
        3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
        4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
        5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If this is a "console machine" then pull all the paper trays out and power cycle machine. If it comes up then either lift motor harness or paper feed motor harness has a short. Had this on a estudio 720 model.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

Yesterday I tested the Intermediate Transport Sensor S17 - using code 03-1[A]Fax[OFF] and the MOT2-MT M17 (both on the same Wire Hardness) - using code 03-133, both not work.
So today I will test theme on another machine, also with the LGC Board again.

I used to work on these toshibas I have some on the field still, I believe is the harness cracked behind the fuser I have so many of this at one time they are loaded spring connectors and if the customer slam the fuser transfer unit it will break the connector in the back, just throwing my Penny in.. it doesn't hurt to check the connectors maybe a piece of paper in between also.

If you're being systematic, you should start with the castors and work your way up. =^..^=

Sometimes input test for sensors might not work perfectly...Can try swap the sensor one by one...

I believe the tech suggested checking the REAR FRAME connector for the Fuser, not just put in a different Fuser. I've also had weird issues where the HDD would store the error data and not release it without reformatting. Worth a try. While you're at it, you could load new firmware as well, which fixes a lot of Toshiba issues, inadvertently.
