e506 boot wait long time

    e506 boot wait long time

    Hi all!

    i have a e506 (Red dot), it is very well but there is a troubleshoot when power on or put 0+8, 0+5 i must wait long time (10-15 min).

    can i repair this problem? how do i do?

      Yes, that's accurate. I've had it take up to 30 minutes for the machine to boot up in 9S mode, to print a couple of reports. It's the nature of the beast. =^..^=
      If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

          update new firmwar to be able to fix that problem? anybody have good new idie?

              It's just a slow processor. Update the firmware if you like, but it won't affect the speed. =^..^=

                  Normal boot time should be 1-2 minutes...

                  Enter 5C mode the check your ADI HDD, make sure id 05 & C5 is "0" value...

                  Latest firmware includes fix for HDD defects...
