If you're sure that the feed roller for tray #2 is not turning, then it's got to be the feed clutch. Usually though, it's for EB50 jam codes. The machine thinks that tray #2 doublefed, because the paper is late out of the tray.

When you get C140 and E140 codes, it's usually caused by the paper lift mechanism. There are several possibilities. The sector gear may be loose or broken or the screw gone. The post that the two stage lift gear on the back of the tray rides on can become bent. The nylon latch that keeps the tray closed can become warped, and let the tray open by itself, letting the lift coupler disengage while feeding. When all these things are working properly sometimes you still may not get enough lift when the tray reaches the bottom of the paper stack. Place two pieces of paper on the lift plate and turn the coupler gear on the back of the tray manually until the lift plate is at the top if it's action. If the paper is not high enough even when sector gear is touching the side rail of the tray, then remove the lever under the lift plate and put a slight bend into it, so that last few pages are high enough to feed out. Personally, I would expect any of these latter causes for C140 and E140, and most likely the feed roller is turning.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
