    e2802AM image skew

When copy via RADF, image skew happen as below.

    20170506_173931.jpg

When feeding in on RADF, the paper is straight, but during exiting paper skew...

    20170505_161748.jpg

I've tried adjusted the hinge, but still the same..Anythings that I might miss out?

      Have you "pinned" the feeder?

As what I know, this MR-3030 RADF no screw to secure...

What I think Luther means, is: Have used the alignment pins to square up the document feeder on the MFP?

From what I can see in your pictures though, the original is skewing immediately during the initial pickup from the original tray. I've seen something like this on an eS6650. The front latch on the DF top cover was not completely engaging, providing uneven separation pressure, and skewing the original. I don't know if it's true, but I suspect that the top cover is warped in some way, so that the latch does not quite align with the post at the front. If you hook a finger under the top cover at the front does it pop open? It shouldn't.

I did a MacGuyver in this situation. I filed out the hole that the plastic latch fits into to move it closer to the post in the frame. Then I fitted and glued on a plastic "patch" to press the shaft into the oblong hole. Maybe a picture will help:

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

This RADF design is diff...I'm watching the paper pickup & feed in straight....If image skew during pickup, paper jam will happen...
During the paper exit, the paper getting skew...Perhaps dirts or dust on the exit transport path...
Next service will realign the RADF before dismantle this RADF...

This feeder design is disaster for me...

Is there a height adjustment at the left hinge? =^..^=

No adjustment on left hinge, except visually check that there is no gap between the top cover of the scanner and the foot portions of the RADF...

                  Re: e2802AM image skew

FYI the 2802 is a little desktop plastic fisherprice disposable copier. I don't think it's made by toshiba and reminds me of some old canon design.

It's feeder sets in a slot like an HP feeder on the printers they taped a feeder too and called an MFP
there is no pins or hinge/height adjustements

                  now.

You may have to just break down and take the thing apart, you cant really get into the silly thing very well. Your original slide mylar (the white on over the scan glass) may be torn where it curves up into the machine or there is something in the paper path...like a staple or stick note.

Or the exit drive shaft has come out/broken since there is no release for the customer to remove jams with, they will resort to the yank N Pull method and it tends to ...deform...plastic bits.

possibly the scan glass or platen glass is up out of place or the covers holding it in place are out of place.

Well, that's a new one. thanks for the pics of what you found.

Am forwarding this to my techs.

Looks like a grab and yank jam removal cause that one.
