I have a E Studio 232 with no power, the previous tech replaced fuser lamps, thermistors and power supply. I found a completely dead machine with power going into the high voltage power supply and nothing coming out, all the fuses on the board are ok. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.

Re: E Studio 232 No Power
I think I would start with the basics. I would read all outputs from the power supply.
The way it should work:
When the main switch is turned ON, you'll get ONLY 5vdc to the logic board. Only when the logic board boots up it will send a signal to the power supply to enable other voltages. The logic board also enables the HVT to function, whether or not there are voltages present.
So first, determine what voltages you are getting, and which you are not at the power supply. If there remains a short in the machine, that new power supply may be just as dead as the last one. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
