If NIC faulty, reboot machine suppose still no connection...

U can try bypass the network, hook up a laptop and perform ping test non stop and prove to the IT guy...

You want to know how many bad Toshiba NIC cards I've seen? None ever.

Connect it to your laptop via a known good crossover. Set up two static IP's. Print, Scan, Ping, view the webpage, whatever.

My guess is that there's a dupe. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
      1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
      2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
      3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
      4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
      5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Only seen 1 bad NIC card since copiers went digital. IT guys are the toughest guys to prove that to, especially if they diagnosed it. IP conflict??
